Our client is the industry leader for insurance, providing flexible insurance solutions to customers in an attempt to help them understand, manage and minimize risks. They are seeking a Customer Service Representative at their location in Olathe, KS to be a part of the HR Transaction Center processing team to process New Hire information, Employee data changes, salary changes, and other HR functions. The rep will service as the primary contact to all employees and retirees on payroll, benefits and other HR functions or policy related questions. Responsibilities of the Customer Service Rep:

  • Handles all customer service inquires with high volume calls and quick response time

  • Provide clerical services to internal customers in the processing of Human Resources transactions

  • Navigate around various systems to process data and analyze this to facilitate decision making and provide an effective customer service delivery

  • Enter all information into correct program while multi-tasking

  • Processing payroll, on - boarding of new hires, and I9 verification

Requirements of the Customer Service Rep:

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience

  • Ability to multi-task is critical to be able to navigate through multiple systems/application interchangeably and work within a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Microsoft office proficient with an emphasis on Excel and Outlook

  • Must demonstrate an ability to learn quickly and apply the knowledge learned through training

  • Prior HR experience with Processing/On-boarding/Background Checks preferred

  • Strong and accurate typing/data entry skills

  • Must be able to work efficiently, paying high attention to detail and organization as there is little room for error in this role

  • Strong communication both written and oral
